| Why
Big Frog?
In 2003 we adopted this cute little green Ocoee River frog
at the outpost.
He insists that we named our outpost after him. Actuall y
we named it
for Big Frog Mountain, the biggest and highest feature of
the Ocoee Region.
We see it every day on our way to work, looming up in the
morning fog or dusted with snow in the winter. Our little
green
frog is now calling himself Big Frog and wants his name
on everything! What a pushy little croaker. But he is kind
of
cute, and he grows on you... like warts!
Our
outpost - constantly changing
Onsite
management by Ocoee veteran
If you have visited us before, you might have noticed new
flowers, trees and shrubs at the outpost. We're always trying
to create more green stuff around the place.
But the best changes relate to our focus on strong onsite
management. Once you’ve met our outpost manager, Rick
Houlk, you will begin to understand how his commitment to
his customers and his high standards for operation make
everything he does above and beyond the call of duty. Rick
has been with our company since it's beginning in 1996,
along with another 16 years of river experience before that.
And he’s only 28 years old, right Rick? Can you see
the gray hairs in his photo?
Hell
probably gain a few more gray hairs with the long list of
outpost improvements we are constantly planning. Poor Rick
needs to clone himself! We make a few each summer as time
allows between river runs, and weve always got more
up our sleeves... new equipment, new services and new activities
to give our customers more choices than ever before. |
