Each of our instructors is trained thoroughly
in river safety and maintains current certification in CPR
and First Aid, as well as ACA Instructor certification. We
would like you to introduce you to some of our key instruction
staff.

We guarantee you won't be bored with
Ken Nichols' down-home quirky sense of humor! Boating since
1981, Ken has spent time on numerous rivers throughout the
United States, including three years as a raft guide and safety
kayaker on the Grand Canyon. He has many years' experience
as an instructor for both the Atlanta Whitewater Club and
Georgia State University. Ken's very positive and reassuring
instruction style helps both beginning and advanced students
to quickly grasp basic through advanced paddling techniques.
Susan Wilson
Susan Wilson's thirteen years of kayaking includes eleven
years of whitewater rodeo competition and two World Championships.
Susan, whose awesome skills earned her a berth on the U.S.
Rodeo team in 1993 and in 1997, is very familiar with the
rodeo world. She has organized the Ocoee Rodeo for eight years,
and has judged at many of the larger rodeo events. She knows
all the hot moves which score big points with the judges!
Most of all, Susan loves to play on the river and have a good
time sharing her skills with fellow boaters.
