Sundays on the Ocoee
Sundays
are a special day on the Ocoee. We offer one-day clinics
at a special price so you can learn kayaking skills without
the cost and commitment of a standard 2 1/2 day clinic.
All our clinic levels are available at the special Sunday
price, including "Introduction to Kayaking", intermediate
instruction and even the "Ocoee First Timers"
and playboating clinics for the more advanced paddlers.
You can choose what you need to work on and we will have
the right instructor ready to help you achieve your paddling
goals! Just sign up for a "Sundays on the Ocoee"
one-day clinic (write it in under "comments" on
the kayak reservation form).

Why Sundays?
Sundays
are a great day for kayak instruction on the Ocoee, because
the river is not as crowded and things are a little more
laid back than other days. It's a great day for learning
a new skill or improving your paddling ability.
On
any Sunday from June through September we will have instructors
available to teach all levels of kayak skills. If you
have trouble finding the time to schedule a 2 1/2 day
clinic, then this is perfect for you. As a beginner, you
can take a one-day clinic to see how you like kayaking
without the commitment of a full weekend clinic. if you
like your first day, maybe you'll want to come back another
Sunday and work on the next level of skill!

Reservations & deposit
Reservations may be made by phone, fax or mail. Please call our office to check the availability of a particular clinic. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit. Deposits are nonrefundable and are due within 7 days after your reservation has been placed. Final payment is due 30 days prior to clinic date. If a deposit is not received, your reservation will be cancelled and the space opened up to other participants. Reservations made less than 30 days prior to clinic date require full payment. Payment may be made with check, credit card or cash.

Safety & responsibility
Reasonable
changes in the clinic itinerary may be necessary for the
comfort, safety and well-being of our students. It is our
sincere intention to provide you with a trouble-free river
experience. However, whitewater paddling does include inherent
risks that must be assumed by the participant. Accidents
and injuries can occur. We do not assume liability for personal
injury to participants or their personal belongings, or
for loss of time or expenses incurred. Ocoee Adventure Company
and its associates will ask each guest to read and sign
a Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement
prior to the beginning of each clinic. |
